Well, I’m down in Mexico right now on the GodSearch Mexico Mission Trip. We spent 25 hours driving straight through and arrived Saturday evening. The picture above is the van ride into Mexico this morning for church. So far it has been a really cool time, very eye and heart opening in so many ways. We went to a pentecostal church this morning in Reynosa. The people’s hearts for God were amazing… so passionate, so dependent on God. The woman who lead worship and prayer had so much passion for Christ, and even though I couldn’t understand most of it, I was overwhelmed by God’s presence. That’s what I think is so amazing… how God crosses all boundaries and we can worship Him together without hindrance. The community there was amazing and so welcoming. It’s very humbling to see so much poverty and at the same time so much joy for Christ. I want that passion for Christ. I think we all do. I thank God for this opportunity to serve. It’s very cool!
Tomorrow, we will go into a small community in Reynosa and help waterproof some houses, feed them, add light fixtures, wash hair, etc. I pray that God moves powerfully and His love is experienced.
